Studio Policy
Student Expectations
Students are expected to come prepared for lessons with books and completed work, practice regularly, and bring a positive attitude. For piano, hands should be clean and nails trimmed short. Cell phones must be turned off during lessons.
Parent Expectations
Your encouragement is essential as students face both successes and challenges. Please help establish a consistent practice routine and supervise other children if you attend lessons. You are welcome to observe, but progress discussions are best by phone or email.
Lessons and Scheduling
Private piano or voice lessons are held weekly for 30 minutes. Each student is permitted one make-up lesson per session; all other missed lessons are forfeited. If a lesson is canceled by the teacher, it will always be rescheduled.
Materials
Students will need lesson books, a binder, and a metronome (or app). These can be purchased independently or through the teacher, with reimbursement at the next lesson.
Tuition
Tuition is billed monthly and is due at the time of billing by cash or e-transfer. Please include your child’s name in the e-transfer memo. Late payments may incur a $20 fee.
Media Consent
Photos, video, or recordings may be used for educational or promotional purposes, but students will not be identified without additional permission. Parents are asked to indicate agreement or disagreement.
Termination
Lessons may be discontinued in cases of persistent absences, lack of practice, uncooperative behavior, or unpaid tuition. If you must stop lessons, please provide notice.
