Lessons & Scheduling
Private piano and voice lessons are 30 minutes once a week.
Missed lessons are charged unless the teacher cancels the lesson. Please let me know as soon as possible if your child will be absent.
Materials
Students will need:
- Lesson books
- A binder
- A metronome or metronome app
Materials can be purchased independently or through the teacher and reimbursed at the following lesson.
Tuition
Tuition is billed monthly and is due when billed. Payment can be made by cash or e-transfer. Please include your child's name in the e-transfer memo.
A $20 late fee may apply to overdue payments.
Student Expectations
Students should:
- Arrive prepared with their books and completed work.
- Practice regularly between lessons.
- Bring a positive and respectful attitude.
- Keep hands clean and piano nails trimmed short.
Parent Expectations
Your encouragement makes a big difference! Please help your child establish a consistent practice routine. If you bring other children to lessons, please supervise them.
Parents are welcome to observe lessons. For questions about progress, phone or email is usually the best way to connect.
Media Consent
Photos, videos, and recordings may occasionally be used for educational or promotional purposes. Students will not be identified without additional permission.
Parents will be asked to indicate whether they consent to media use.
Ending Lessons
Lessons may be discontinued due to persistent absences, lack of practice, uncooperative behaviour, or unpaid tuition.
If you need to discontinue lessons, please provide notice.
